Staffordshire Cares

We have a dedicated phone number and email address for all adult social care services:

Emails are screened throughout the day and prioritised according to urgency.

Working hours

The team work between the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, except bank holidays

If you already have a dedicated social care team, please contact them directly.

 

 

Emergency Duty Team (EDT)

The team work outside of normal office hours.

They deal with adult safeguarding and mental health assessments and prioritise referrals. Providing us with as much information as possible helps us respond more effectively.

Please note

If you are dealing with a high risk or urgent situation outside of normal working offices and you cannot wait for the local office to open, contact the emergency duty team.

Working hours

The team work between the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 5pm to 9am

  • Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays, 24 hour service
