Service Pupil Premium – Service personnel with children should notify schools of their children’s service status to ensure they are recorded to qualify for extra funding, called the Service Pupil Premium. State schools, academies and free schools in England, which have children of service families in school years reception to year 11, can receive the funding. The school uses the money to provide any additional support that children may need.

The Veterans’ Gateway is the first point of contact for veterans seeking support. It puts veterans and their families in touch with the organisations best placed to help with the information, advice and support they need – from healthcare and housing to employability, finances, personal relationships and more. The Royal British Legion provide financial, social and emotional care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces - past and present and their families. Find your nearest RBL Branch on the Royal British Legion website.
Combat Stress - If you're currently serving, or have served in the UK Armed Forces, you can call the Combat Stress 24-hour helpline to talk about mental health. If you are a family member or carer worried about a loved one or need to talk to someone yourself, you can use it too. You can call 0800 038 1619 for 24-hour support.
SSAFA provides information on social, family and financial issues to anyone that is currently serving or has ever served in the Army, Navy or RAF, and their families.
