Highways Design Code
Staffordshire County Council has released a new Highway Design Code to assist the delivery of new residential streets in Staffordshire as part of well-designed places in line with the National Design Guide and the National Model Design Code.
This Design Code is structured to assist developers throughout the project life cycle from pre-planning engagement through to adoption and will be referred to by Staffordshire County Council in connection with the planning and design of new streets.
It provides best practice guidance for developers and designers engaging in discussions with the Local Planning and Highway Authority.
