Step into Care is an online learning programme hosted on the Social Care Academy for Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. You can complete it at your own pace.
The programme is suitable for anyone interested in finding out more about working in adult social care. It is aimed at people who are new to the adult social care sector or thinking about changing careers.
Through five short online courses, you will learn about different care jobs, gain an introduction to what working in adult social care involves and decide whether a career in care is right for you.
After completing the programme, you will receive information about possible next steps based on the feedback you provide when you complete the course. This may include:

• Programmes that help people prepare for work
• Further learning opportunities across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent
