Keeping them active
Children and young people need to be active for 60 minutes a day to stay well and healthy but currently just 23% of boys and 20% of girls aged 5 to 15 years get the recommended amount.
There are many health benefits for being active, such as; improving bone and heart health, building social skills and boosting self-confidence and mental wellbeing.
