Leads transformation across the council, ensuring strategies are driven by innovation, continuous improvement and customer insight, and managing major organisational change programmes.
Leads all children’s services, with responsibility for social care, education, early help and youth justice, working with partners to support, safeguard and improve outcomes for children and families.
Leads the council’s financial and resource functions as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing budgets, financial management, audit and risk, and providing strategic financial advice to ensure the proper and effective use of public funds.
