Make Your Home Warmer and Cheaper to Run
Here are some easy ways to save energy and money:
- Use LED lights – they use less electricity
- Control your heating – timers and thermostats help you use less energy
- Stop draughts – block gaps around windows and doors to keep warm air in
- Add insulation – this helps keep heat in your home
- Use a hot water tank jacket – this can save around £70 a year
You might be able to get free insulation through the Staffordshire Warmer Homes Scheme.
