County Buildings is a magnificent Grade II* listed building set in the heart of Stafford built in 1895. The building is the Headquarters of the democratically elected County Councillors for Staffordshire and its purpose is to offer Staffordshire people a centrally located, prestigious venue, for events. It is the location for holding the committees of Staffordshire County Council to which the public are invited & civic events.

Office opening hours
Appointments are available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with late night opening to 6pm on Wednesdays.
Saturday appointments for registering births and giving notice are available upon request.

Disabled access and toilet facilities are provided.
The County Register Office is located at the historic County Buildings in the heart of Stafford town centre.
The Drawing Room provides a large traditional ceremony room that seats 50 guests.
