Overview
Staying in your own home doesn’t mean you have to manage alone. There are services that can help you stay independent, safe, and comfortable where you live.
What’s available
- Home care support – Regular visits from a care worker to help with daily tasks like washing, dressing, and preparing meals.
- Reablement support – Short-term care to help you regain confidence and skills after illness, injury, or a hospital stay.
Who can get help
Support is available for adults who need extra help because of age, illness, disability, or after a period in hospital. Some services are free for a limited time, while others may involve a financial contribution.
