Stafford and Cannock bus services

From 11 January 2021 most Arriva Midland bus routes in Stafford, Cannock, Rugeley and Lichfield were transferred to Chaserider. Please see the Chaserider website for more details, including ticket information. 

The service 5 route between Telford and Stafford and the 765/X65 routes between Lichfield and Tamworth continues to be operated by Arriva Midlands.

If you don't know which bus you need to catch, an online journey planner is provided by Traveline.

The Traveline journey planner includes other public transport options as well as buses and can also be accessed by phone on 0871 200 22 33 (calls cost 12p per minute, plus your phone company’s access charges).

Dial a ride services and community voluntary transport schemes

These are a form of pre-booked transport using smaller vehicles instead of large buses. Anyone living within the operating area, who cannot access a local bus service, can use the services for any purpose. 

 


 

Additional seats available on local bus services

To support the return of pupils to school, additional temporary services have been created on busy parts of the local bus network where commercial services wouldn’t be able to carry all potential passengers at peak time.
