Many of our libraries host free Baby Bounce and Rhyme sessions, helping support babies and children with speach and language skills, as well as supporting motor skills development.

Tots Time, Storytime and Children's Activities

Story and activity sessions for pre-school children, providing a chance for parents or carers to chat and for children to mix and have fun.

Reading Groups

If you’d like to try reading something a bit different and enjoy a social atmosphere, a reading group may be perfect for you. Join the group and read and discuss a range of books in a friendly atmosphere. Sometimes these groups meet in a library, but we also supply books for groups that choose to meet elsewhere.

Knit & Natter

Our knit and natter groups are a friendly social group where you can knit to your heart’s content in very good company.
