Codsall Library

Coronavirus update

From Monday 12 April, Staffordshire’s 16 county-managed libraries will be open for browsing in addition to the return of books and the order and collect service. They will also be open for the use of a limited number of library computers, which users must book in advance, and printing is available too. They will continue to operate with their current opening times as stated below.

Order and collect service

An ‘order and collect’ service continues to operate in libraries (and paid-for title reservations can also be placed by customers on the online catalogue).

To place an order, please either complete our online form or contact the library using the phone number or email address shown below. We will only be supplying the books available at your selected library.

Codsall Library will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 September to allow for the move into its new location in the Codsall Community Hub. The library will then remain closed until it re-opens in the brand new space at 9am on Monday 11 October. The new library is designed to be a more flexible space with a comfortable audience area designed for talks and activities, an engaging children’s area and space to study, relax and read.  Our usual core services will also be on offer – popular fiction and non-fiction books, PCs, Wi-Fi access and Wi-Fi printing.

We look forward to welcoming you to the new look, vibrant, 21st century library from Monday 11 October.

The nearest Library while Codsall is closed is in Perton on Severn Drive, WV67QU. You can return Codsall books there and borrow from their collection. Please call 01902 506050 to speak to a member of staff at Perton Library.

Please feel free to borrow addtional items prior to the move if you require them; you can also use our free eLibrary
