Packages available
The below information highlights the packages available to any interested Staffordshire parish, as well as the standards our websites are upheld to.
All work undertaken by the Digital Team will:
- Comply with Website Accessibility Standards (WCAG2.1).
- Be mobile responsive and multi device tested.
Bronze Pack
£100 per year.
- A dedicated WordPress site hosted by Staffordshire County Council, using the template.
- Initial website setup, such as; editing colours to suit branding, adding a logo and editing page names/structure to suit content.
- An editor account for the parish clerk.
- Training resources and written guidance for populating the site content.
- Website content backed up and updated on a regular basis.

The website we set up for you will be blank and ready for you to fill with content using our custom, easy to use plugins and supported by our guidance. The template website we supply is accessible and mobile responsive, however it is your responsibility to ensure your content is compliant where it needs to be. Please see our accessibility page for further information about what this means.
If you require support from the Digital Team to populate the site content, this is an add-on charge as detailed below.
Silver Pack
£125 per year.
- All Bronze elements.
- Monthly security and functionality/plugin updates to the site.
- Set up of additional user accounts where required.
Gold Pack
£150 per year.
- All Bronze and Silver elements.
- Fortnightly security and plugin updates to the site.
- Google analytics set up for site and configuration of standard report for users to access.
Additional work for all packages would be charged at £50 per hour with all work agreed prior, such as:
- Content population
- PDF to webpage conversion
- Additional website functionality (price dependant on functionality)
- Bespoke additional training
Domain name management (web addresses)
Registering a new domain
We can register new domains for you, and whilst charges can change over time, typical costs are:
- .co.uk - £9.99 per year
- .org.uk - £9.99 per year
- .net - £15.99 per year
- .org - £15.99 per year
Please note: we do not offer .gov.uk domains.
Payment
Yearly hosting and any domain fees are invoiced upfront once your website goes live and will then be recharged each year. We do not offer refunds if you choose to move to a different supplier mid-way through the year.
