Forums

If you are a care leaver or about to leave care you have a young people's forum.

What is it?

Regular meetings for young people who are in or have left care and leaving care workers.

What does the forum talk about?

You can talk about the service you receive. Is it good, is it bad, what should we do more of, what should we do less of?

You should have your say about your service.

How do you get to go to the meetings?

To attend meetings you should tell your personal adviser that you are interested. You can then be invited regularly.

If there is a part of the service you think should be talked about at the meetings let your PA know. It could be included and you could attend.

You can also email us direct if you want to come to the young person's forum:
leaving.care@staffordshire.gov.uk

Dates and topics

6 meetings are scheduled for each year.

If you need help with travel arrangements to attend a meeting either ask your personal adviser, or through care social worker.

Email us: leaving.care@staffordshire.gov.uk

Let us know what you think of the service we provide. Your ideas, comments, enquiries, compliments or complaints will be welcomed.
