Specialist short breaks

Specialist short breaks are targeted at families with the most complex needs:

Specialist short breaks are referral only and are targeted at families with the most complex needs:

• Children must be referred by their social worker. This is so we can make sure these very specialist services are offered to the families which need them most.
   
• An eligibility assessment of your child's needs and family circumstances must take place. This may also involve professionals from health and education services.
   
• If your child does not have a social worker already please contact the Staffordshire Childrens Advice and Support Service to request an assessment.
