Passenger assistant's handbook
The journey between home and school is a key part of the school day and Passenger Assistants have an important role to play, as many of the pupils that we transport require consistency and routine.
Our handbook has been produced by Staffordshire County Council Transport Team to support staff in conducting their duties and will also act as an induction document for new employees and as a refresher for existing employees.
Together we transport some of the most vulnerable people in Staffordshire to schools and colleges, we all face many complex and challenging situations daily to deliver pupils safely and timely to their educational opportunities.
We couldn’t do it without the care and dedication of people like you.
