Starting Primary School in September

Exciting times are ahead as your child starts their new primary school. You have most likely thought of having to buy new school uniform, new shoes, a school bag but one of the most important things to consider is how you are going to get to and from school.

The School Run Revolution contains useful information about walking, cycling, scooting and using public transport on the journey to and from school. It also highlights the problems many schools have with regard to inconsiderate and dangerous parking in the vicinity of the school gates. By providing new families with this information, it is hoped that they develop active and sustainable travel habits right from the start, which will continue throughout their time at school.

Join the School Run Revolution – walk, cycle or scoot to school if you can.
