As in previous years, a census to collect mode of travel to school data is required by Staffordshire County Council. Census data we have gathered in previous years has been invaluable when compiling the Travel to School Action Plans, that were sent out to all Staffordshire’s mainstream schools in August, in preparation for all pupils returning to school for the Autumn term.
The survey can be completed at any time but must be returned by Friday 20th October 2023. Survey responses can be collected very easily through a pupil/student “hands-up” survey method. Attached is a survey template, please print/email to teaching staff for each class.
Please ensure the whole school response is collected and sent altogether, and that the school name is clearly marked for data input purposes. Responses should be submitted via the Microsoft Forms Survey below:
