Learner Handbook

Congratulations on enrolling on a Staffordshire Community Learning course!

There has never been a better time to get into learning, whether it’s to improve your skills for work, to support your family or for your own well-being, or as a first step towards a higher level course; there are so many benefits to learning as an adult.

We work closely with our partners across the county of Staffordshire to deliver high-quality courses of learning, that are accessible and flexible to meet your needs.

Lifelong learning helps to keep your skills up to date for work, volunteering and helping out family and friends. Learning something new, together with other people is great for our wellbeing, and increases our confidence.

If this is your first step back into learning, I hope that it is just the beginning of a long and successful journey, which will bring you new skills, interests and opportunities. And if you are a returning learner, I hope you achieve what you set out to do on your course and wish you all the best.
