Course Content
You will learn:

- How to support children’s communication, play, and emotional wellbeing
- Creating safe, inclusive environments for young children
- Professional skills and behaviours valued in Early Years settings
Learning Methods
Through a blend of accessible theory, real-world examples, and practical guidance, you will gain a solid understanding of child development, the role of the Early Years practitioner, and the importance of creating safe, nurturing learning environments.
Learner Support
Classes are small to ensure your teacher can provide you with the help and support you need to enable you to confidently access the class learning materials. Individual specific needs will be discuss at the start of the course.
Course Assessments
To ensure you are on track, and understanding the course, your tutor will use verbal questions, observations and an individual learning plan to monitor your progress against the course outcomes.
Learning Materials
We will provide the workbooks. You will need to bring a pen and paper to take notes and to be able to complete the workbooks during the course.

During the course, you and your teacher will explore progression options depending on your individual needs.
