Community learning service privacy notice

The Council's Community Learning Service provides informal and formal learning programmes for all Staffordshire adults aged 19+.

  • The learning programmes are funded by Grants from the Government.
  • The programmes are delivered by Partners commissioned by the Council.
  • There are criteria that learners need to meet to be eligible for the funding. 

The information we collect from you on the application forms is used to secure funding and to provide learning programmes to eligible learners. 

How we share the information 

Your information is shared with the organisation delivering the programme on behalf of the Council. This is so they can offer you a place. Where required, they will carry out eligibility checks to ensure you are entitled to receive the training. 

Your information is shared with the Government Department providing the funding, such as Department of Education. The Council is required to share a limited amount of information with these departments in order to claim the grant money.
