Publication scheme

We have adopted the model publication scheme produced by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). This represents our commitment to publishing information about how we make decisions, the way we do business and deliver services.

Information we publish

How do I obtain information about Staffordshire County Council?

We publish or make available key information about the council, how we make decisions, how we operate, our strategies, policies and procedures by the county council is:

• Published on our website

• Published on linked websites for some specific services

• Published on external websites where this a requirement. Links are provided on relevant pages of our website.

• Made available on request or made available for a fee our website includes details of how this information can be obtained. If a fee is charged for supplying information or information services details of fees are also published on our website.

You can find information published on Staffordshire County Council's website or information we publish on third party websites by:

• Searching using your web browser and indluding Staffordshire County Council as part of the search criteria

• Using the search functionality available on our website

• Select from the A-Z of services at the bottom of each webpage. Or,

• Using the Browse function on our website

 What if I cannot find the information I want?

 If you cannot find information that you want online or details of information that we make available by other means:

• Staffordshire County Council may not be responsible for the function or service - Check the summary of information we do not hold

• If you want information that is not made available on our website or other means then you can make a freedom of information request for non-personal council information
