Business Innovation event South Staffs

Ambitious business owners can discover how to unlock future growth through innovation at a free event in South Staffordshire next week.

Taking place at the Codsall Community Hub on Friday 12 December, the Business Growth and Innovation event will feature expert presentations on harnessing innovation, leveraging artificial intelligence, and accessing academic expertise through Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs).

It is part of the business support provided through the county council’s Succeed and Grow programme, which is available to companies operating out of main urban centres.

People can sign up on the event website now.

Attendees will also benefit from practical strategies to support and scale their businesses in a rapidly changing economy.

A representative from the University of Wolverhampton will share insights on how KTPs can connect businesses with cutting-edge academic knowledge to solve real-world challenges. The event will also showcase how artificial intelligence is transforming sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and engineering.

The event, hosted by county council partner Rocketeer, begins at 9.30am, with networking from 12.30pm.

Martin Murray, Staffordshire County Council’s deputy leader, said:

Nearly 90 per cent of Staffordshire businesses are SMEs and we are committed as a county council to ensure they get the support needed to grow and thrive.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to access the latest thinking, expert advice, and practical tools to help them succeed in a competitive landscape here at the beating heart of the UK economy.”
