Voters in this Thursday’s county council by-election are being reminded to bring photo ID to their polling station.

There will be 16 polling stations open across the Eccleshall and Gnosall Division for nearly 11,000 electors to cast their vote.

Churches, community centres, a sports club and even a caravan will be available on Thursday for people to vote for the county council seat.

Acceptable identification includes a UK passport, driving licence, or disabled blue badge. A full list can be found at Voter ID | Electoral Commission

Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm this Thursday 17 July. The by-election is being held following the resignation of a councillor.
