Walk-in vaccine clinic at Cheadle Fire Station on Monday

Posted on Friday 12th November 2021

Covid-19 vaccines will be available for people at a walk-in clinic at Cheadle Fire Station (ST10 1HF) on Monday 15 November.

The clinic will be open to anybody aged 12-15 years old in need of a first dose of the vaccine, and anybody aged 16 and over in need of their first or second dose.

The vaccine clinic is managed by the NHS and will be open from 10:30am to 2:30pm with no appointment necessary.

Director for Health and Care at Staffordshire County Council, Dr Richard Harling, urged anybody local still in need of a jab to make use of the clinic:

“Vaccination remains the best way to protect ourselves from Covid-19 and significantly reduce the risk of the short and long-term health complications it can cause people of any age. Covid has not gone away so the sooner everybody in Staffordshire gets vaccinated the better.

“Walk-in clinics offer a quick and convenient way for people to get vaccinated, so please put your health first and take up the opportunity to get your vaccine at the fire station if you are able to attend on Monday.”

Anybody aged 12 and over can get their Covid-19 vaccine. Parents and guardians of 12-15 year olds will need to attend vaccine clinics with their child as consent will be required on the day.

A separate walk-in clinic for 12-15 year olds will be at Cheadle Hospital (ST10 1NS) on Saturday 13 November between 9am and 4pm.
