Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The Staffordshire County Council (Staffordshire Moorlands) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 2 (2009) (Amendment) No. 50/2023
- Staffordshire County Council on 10 October 2023 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce the below.
No Waiting at Any Time – St Thomas’s Road, A522 New Road and A522 Cheadle Road, Upper Tean
Limited Waiting Bay – Mon-Sat, 9am to 7pm, 30 Minutes. No Return within 1 hour – A522 New Road
2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Cheadle Library, 15A - 17 High Street Cheadle, ST10 1AA.
3. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court.
4. The Order will commence on 16 October 2023

The Staffordshire County Council (Staffordshire Moorlands) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 2 (2009) (Amendment) No. 50/2023
The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Amendment Order shall come into operation on 16 October 2023 and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council (Staffordshire Moorlands) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 2 (2009) (Amendment) No. 50/2023
2. The above Order amends the Plan marked BN123, incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of the Staffordshire County Council (Staffordshire Moorlands) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 2 (2009) and in substitution thereof and adds Plan marked BN122
