How Amy is helping her boys with their homework and building confidence with Maths.

Posted on Friday 4th April 2025

Maths has always been a challenge for Amy. Growing up, she struggled with confidence after being told she wasn’t clever and facing bullying at school.

Now, as a mum of two, including a son with autism, she’s determined to overcome her fears so she can help her children with their homework. But with maths being taught in a completely different way from when she was at school, she needed support to keep up.

That’s where Multiply came in. With expert tutors who take the time to explain concepts in a way that makes sense, Amy is finally starting to feel confident in her abilities. “Last week, I literally thought, ‘I can do this,’ and I would have never believed that before,” she says.

Amy’s story is the second in our Multiply Everyday Maths Success Stories series, showcasing learners who are transforming their lives by tackling maths anxiety.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue sharing powerful stories of people just like Amy, who are proving that with the right support, anything is possible.

If you’ve ever felt like maths is holding you back, now is the time to take that first step. Watch Amy’s video and see how Multiply could help you too
