From September 2017 the prices of music lessons provided by Entrust’s Music and Performing Arts Service will be reduced.
Current prices
- Instrumental Primary £42 per hour
- Instrumental Secondary £40 per hour
- All whole class teaching £54 per hour
- Live Music £205 per session
September 2017 prices
- Instrumental Primary £38 per hour
- Instrumental Secondary £38 per hour
- All whole class teaching £48 per hour
- Live Music £200 per session
Instruments will continue to be provided free of charge for all parents using the service.
Playing a musical instrument is important
Studies have shown that learning a musical instrument whilst at school can help to enhance brain function, improve concentration and help pupils gain higher grades in their exams.
