General short copy

Over 850 people now regularly volunteer in libraries across Staffordshire, contributing nearly 17 years of volunteer time since April 2016.

Volunteering in your local library has many benefits not just for the community, but for yourself too.

There are many things that you can get involved in by volunteering at your local library, it’s not just about books. There are plenty of activities and clubs that take place for you to get involved in.

Anyone can volunteer, you don’t need any qualifications or particular skills to take part. Just 2 hours a week can make all the difference and is great way to meet new people and develop new skills that could be beneficial for your future.
