Further highway improvement works including carriageway and footway resurfacing along some sections will take place during 2024/2025, exact details will be confirmed in due course.
When are the works taking place?
Site investigations will commence on 2 January 2024.
What is the duration of the works?
The completion date is programmed for Mid March 2024.
Will I be able to access my home/business?
To minimise traffic disruption, the investigations will be carried out at night times, during week nights from 7:30pm to 6am with various traffic management measures being used.
Access to frontages within the works areas will be maintained as far as practically possible, however some delays may be experienced.
What effect could the works have on me?
We take care to make sure that work is completed with the minimum of disturbance to the local community but as with any major works, some traffic delays may occur.
Although we will do our best to ensure that noise pollution is kept to a minimum, it is likely that construction noise will be heard during the working times.
