Information for children and young people with SEND

The SEND Local Offer

The SEND Local Offer is like a big guidebook that brings together all the information you and your family might need. It helps you find:

  • Schools and education – how to choose the right school and get extra help if you need it
  • Health services – doctors, therapists, and other professionals who can support you
  • Activities and clubs – fun things to do, like sports, arts, and social groups
  • Advice and support – places where you and your family can talk to people who understand and get helpful advice

All this information is in one place, so it’s easy to see what’s available and how to access it.

The voice project

The Voice Project is all about making sure your voice is heard. It helps children and young people share their thoughts and ideas about the services they use.

Here’s what the Voice Project does:

  • Works with schools, health services, the police, and other organisations
  • Makes sure these groups listen to what you have to say
  • Gives you opportunities to get involved and influence decisions
