Out of hours emergencies
You can report highways emergencies online at any time, even when we're closed. Our on-call officers will pick up and respond to your report, and you'll receive updates as usual.
If you can't use the online service, call 0300 111 8000 and choose the option for Highways Emergency. Your report will be passed to our on-call officer, but you won’t receive automatic updates.
Please only use this service for emergencies.
Non-emergencies can be reported online using the Report It tool or the MyStaffs app.
What we do after you report a problem
If the type of report allows, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the Highways team. This email will include your report reference number.
You can use this reference number to check the status of your report by logging into your customer account.
You do not need to follow up unless:
- you haven’t received a confirmation email (for eligible report types), or
- you need to provide additional information.
