Cannock Chase circular walk

This walk covers a large area of the smallest mainland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in the United Kingdom.

Consall nature park

Consall Nature Park is situated within the beautiful valley of the River Churnet.

Deep Hayes circular walk

This interesting walk follows the Staffordshire Way along Caldon Canal to Cheddleton before climbing out of the valley to a viewpoint at Tompkin.

Milford Common trails

This trail can be walked as either an extension to the Red or Green Trails or from its starting point at Coppice Hill car park.

Oakamoor and Whiston circular walk

This walk around the Churnet valley begins in Oakamoor, follows Cotton Dell upstream to a nature reserve, then climbs up through woodland and over the hill tops to Whiston.

Shugborough Hall and Sherbrook Valley

This lovely walk begins along the Trent and Mersey Canal where it is possible to see a wide variety of wildlife, in particular Kingfishers if you are lucky.

Staffordshire Tolkien trail

The Staffordshire Tolkien Trail is a Staffordshire Libraries walk - a series of three linked walks that cover over 30 miles of the Staffordshire Countryside on and around Cannock Chase.
