If you are unhappy about the way a county councillor has behaved, you may complain to our Monitoring Officer. Complaints can be submitted online, by email, or in writing.

Appeals

There is no right of appeal against the decision on whether to investigate a complaint against a county councillor or decisions made following investigation. 

If a complainant is unhappy about the way in which their complaint against a county councillor has been administered, complaints can be lodged with the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman who can be contacted as follows:
