Welcome to Staffordshire’s Care Market Development Team pages
Our Care Market Development Team (CMDT) support Staffordshire's care organisations to recruit, keep and develop highly skilled staff, so that our residents receive the best care possible.
We do this by:
- Planning and helping access to a wide range of sector-specific training and events to staff at all levels, including care workers, team leaders, supervisors, nurses, nominated persons, registered managers and deputies.
- Signposting adult social care providers to a wide range of information, advice and guidance resources to support high quality workforce and service development.
- Leadership development within an organisation supporting registered managers to develop their own potential.
- Supporting those seeking employment in the care sector, and employers seeking staff.
