Liquid level indicators

Includes devices that beep and/or vibrate when the level of liquid in a cup has reached a certain level.

Perching stools

Perching stools help position the user in a supported semi-standing position. Seek advice from an Occupational Therapist before buying a perching stool.

Plugs and sockets

This section contains examples of sockets and plugs with various assistive features which include extensions, plugs with handles and grips and remote controlled sockets. It is always advisable to seek an electrician’s expertise before purchasing any electrical devices.

Slip resistant materials can be used in many ways to help with grip, or to stop things sliding on smooth surfaces.

Stools and trolleys

If you struggle with standing while preparing food and drink, then perching stools may help. Trolleys also can be a helpful piece of equipment for transporting items. It is advisable to seek advice from an Occupational Therapist before Purchasing a stool or trolley.
