In Staffordshire, all children and young people with language difficulties are able to request support from the NHS Speech and Language Service as discussed in the previous two sections and may have done from an early age. However, if the child or young person has been discharged from this service and requires the support of outside agencies for learning or SEMH needs, please refer to the relevant sections for more details:
