Thank you for your petition calling for changes to the traffic calming features installed along Bradwell Lane.
Road safety is extremely important to the County Council and the significant investment made to improve road safety along Bradwell Lane was justified through a detailed analysis of the personal injury collisions that had occurred at this location. The scheme was designed to reduce the significant number of collisions taking place by physically reducing vehicle speeds along the route with traffic calming measures.
The scheme was subject to consultation with the local community prior to its implementation in 2018; however, the County Council will continue to monitor the impact of the scheme and discuss its findings with the local County Councillor.
