Macaroni cheese

Macaroni cheese


  • 350g dry pasta
  • 600ml semi skimmed milk
  • 50g reduced fat spread
  • 50g soft cheese or reduced fat soft cheese
  • 70g mature cheddar (grated) Black pepper


  1.  Pour boiling water over the pasta and drain. 
  2. Put all ingredients into the slow cooker. 
  3. Cook on low for 1.5 hours
  4. After 1 hour check to see if the pasta is cooked and add more milk if needed. 
  5. Serve with green salad
