Staffordshire Purchasing is Changing Its Name
Due to a name change, with immediate effect Staffordshire Purchasing will now be known as Staffordshire Procurement. All other details remain unchanged.
Welcome to the new Corporate Procurement web site and to our new interactive database of contracts.
The 'Current Tender Opportunities' link enables you to view all County Council contracts with links to those that are out to advert and those recently awarded. We also include contact details of the procurement staff who can provide help and advice.
For your information, details on contracts that have been outsourced to other local authority providers can be found here.

This site also enables both new and existing providers to understand the steps in the tendering process with our Selling to the County Council guide.
In addition to the database above, we have simplified the Council procurement into department/activity to help guide you to the part of the site you need. These are listed down the right hand side of the site.
The value created by good procurement practice across the County Council has a significant impact on local industry, front line services and Staffordshire's citizens.

New Web Site Launched
The County Council's Procurement Board on Monday the 23rd April witnessed the 'unveiling' of the final segment of the procurement web site.
Following on from the successful launch of the procurement Intranet and Internet sites, the board saw the launch of an interactive database for all County Council contracts.
This is the first time contract information from all directorates is stored and accessible from one location. The driver for this project has been the need to make contract information available to staff, neighbouring authorities and both new and existing providers, to ensure they have simple and easy access to contracts, especially those the County Council is seeking bids for.
The project has seen input and collaboration by all of the directorates, and was compiled in house by ICT development.
