Feeding and weaning

In Staffordshire, our Health Visitor team share lots of online information, advice and guidance on feeding your baby, from breastfeeding, formula feeding to moving onto solid foods.

Further information on the below topics can be found on the Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust website:

  • Infant feeding support - Our Health Visitor team share a wealth of advice around feeding your child. From preparing for baby, to breastfeeding myths, formula feeding to moving onto solid foods.
  • ChatHealth (Staffordshire Connects) - A text messaging service and app for young people and parents to ask for health and wellbeing advice from our Families Health and Wellbeing Team.
  • Well baby drop in clinics - Our Well Baby drop in clinics are located across the county within many of our family hubs and local community venues. These clinics give families the opportunity to speak in person to a member of the health visitor team about all their child's health needs.
