Branston Phase 2 development

These highway works are associated with the new high school, to include the removal of the existing road, construction of a new carriageway and roundabout together with a footway/cycleway, service diversion, new service installation and associated kerbing, road marking, traffic signs and street lighting.

When are the works taking place?

The works started on 11 September 2017.

When will the works be completed?

The works will be completed in Summer 2018.

Will I be able to access my home/business?

Access to properties will be maintained at all times.

What effect could the works have on me?

Due to the nature of the works there will be a requirement for road closures along Branston Road. The closures will be in place between the new roundabout on Branston Road and the Main Street/Dunstall Road crossroads in Tatenhill Village.

Access to Tatenhill Lane is maintained at all times using the new road via the A38 only. Properties along Branston Road in Tatenhill will be accessed via the Main Street/Dunstall Road crossroads only.

There will be no through access from Tatenhill to/from the A38 from Branston Road for the duration of the closures. The closures are due to run between 11th September 2017 and 14th November 2017, and between 2nd January 2018 and 25 June 2018.
