Roadworks: Cannock area

To report a road or lighting fault the easiest way is to report it online.

In progress

  • A temporary closure on Stafford Lane Footbridge is being put in place to allow essential work to begin as part of Network Rail’s investment and electrification of the Walsall to Rugeley line. A diversion route with temporary traffic signals is provided for pedestrian use.

  • Major works to provide access to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cannock and improve traffic flow on the roads. These works started in November 2018 and are expected to be completed in 72 weeks.


May 2019

  • From early May 2019 we will be carrying out significant works along the C0130 Cannock Road, Hednesford. Our team will be replacing damaged kerbs and resurfacing the carriageway at the Island that serves Greenheath Road, Station Road and Market Street.
