Action: For information
In the run up to St Valentine’s Day we want you to think about your journey to school.
In Staffordshire we are doing our bit to improve the Air Quality around schools.
Air Pollution is a problem around most urban schools in Staffordshire, but all schools will see pollution levels worsen at pick up and drop off times.
The Active School Travel Team would like to invite you to do your bit to help improve the air quality around your school and increase exercise levels, both of which can lessen the risk of heart disease.
Please use the attached poster to help promote the campaign to parents and pupils.
Posters can be printed, added to social media, attached to emails and copied to webpages and newsletters.

• Try a Leave Your Car At Home Day the week before 14th February and for those that live too far to leave it at home, leave it away from school.
