How to book online?:

Click on the green ‘book now’ button and follow the on-screen instructions, ensure you ‘check out’ at the end of your booking. If you should need to cancel a booking, follow the instructions in your confirmation of booking email.

What equipment do I need?:

For any activity you will need sensible footwear and clothing suitable for the weather. We also recommend a small bag to carry a water bottle and any other personal belongings.

We may also offer the use of walking poles depending on walking location and terrain.

For cycle training and group led rides, we will provide cycle hi-vis, helmets and loan you a bike if requested for the activity.

What is an adaptive bike?:

Any individual at times may need adaptions to support their cycling. Adapted bikes also include Electric Bikes which help you ride further distances, especially in times of recovering from illness or aging. They help to keep regular riders where standard bikes may not be suitable.

Other adapted bikes are special bikes made to help people who need extra support with different disabilities so they can ride safely.

Types of adapted bikes:

  • Tricycle
  • Tandem side-by-side
  • Recumbent

Your instructor will assist you in choosing the right bike for you and the activity chosen.

Please ensure when booking onto any cycle training or group led rides that you select which bikes you require, if you are unsure what you need, then please do get in touch and a member of the team will talk through options for you.

How do I choose which level of activity?:

All led walks have been graded by the INTO Walk Leaders to provide a range for any ability.

  • Easy walk - fewer inclines and shorter distances providing an easy walk, these may also be in towns using pavements near to traffic.
  • Leisure walk - majority traffic free routes in country parks and green spaces.
  • Moderate walk - a range of surfaces over longer distances for more active people.

All cycle routes for our led rides have been graded by the INTO Ride Leaders to provide a range of activities for any ability. For complete beginners see the confidence building training.

  • Easy cycling – short distances and majority traffic free targeted at those that can ride.
  • Leisure cycling – majority traffic free routes in country parks and green spaces or cycle routes.
  • Moderate cycling – suitable for more experienced cyclists who are confident riding further, on a variety of surfaces and with a mix of traffic and traffic free environments.

For more strenuous rides check your local cycling groups.
