To Die For?
21 November 2017 to 30 December 2017
Have you ever considered that what you are wearing might be bad for your health? Over the centuries many fashions have led to serious and often deadly health problems for the people that wore them. Corsets squeezed internal organs, dyes could cause skin irritation and feet were distorted by high heels. Try some of the fashions on for yourself and find out if there really was such a thing as a fashion victim! Open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm. Admission free.
Look out for our new exhibition exploring the theme of 'Childhood' which launches in July.
21 July to 2 September 2018 Brampton Museum and Art Gallery, Newcastle-under-Lyme
8 September to 4 November 2018 Ancient High House, Stafford
