Arts, Health and Wellbeing
Staffordshire Arts Service works in partnership with Creative Health CIC to help support a regional network dedicated to sustaining arts and health work in Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
Still Lively is a 2 year partnership project for older people living in Staffordshire and Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Choices Housing Association, Staffordshire Arts Services, and Creative Health CIC work together to run the 2 year programme.
Older people will get the opportunity to take part in events, talks and workshops with artists and writers at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, and Choices Shire Living Schemes in Staffordshire. The venues will become places for older people to create, share and celebrate their artworks, stories and ideas, inspiring those taking part, as well as other visitors.
Artworks from the venues will also be taken on tour to Shire Living centres across Staffordshire for older people to enjoy.
