Our libraries are a treasure trove of information about local and family history. There is no better place for you to begin your research.

1-2-1 sessions

Some libraries offer 1-2-1 sessions with volunteers or IT buddies, who can help you with your family or local studies research. Staff can also direct you to local groups, societies and courses where you can learn more.

Staffordshire History Festival

In September and October each year the Staffordshire History Festival takes place across Staffordshire Libraries and Arts, Archives and Museums. It's a two-month celebration of our local history and cultural heritage in Staffordshire. We offer a range of events, activities, exhibitions and other opportunities to engage with our past.
