What are community libraries?

Community libraries are where community or voluntary groups manage and deliver both their library and the library space, with support from the county council.

At community managed libraries in Staffordshire, visitors can continue to use the library books, IT and free Wifi, but can also access other helpful services for that community. 

The community groups that run the libraries are in the unique position of knowing what their community wants and needs, allowing them to make the best use of the space.
