Family health and wellbeing

Supporting families to start and grow well

Every parent wants the best for their children.  We aim to support parents to give every child in Staffordshire the best start in life and the opportunity to grow well.

Healthy and happy children are ready for school and able to learn. Doing well at school increases the chances of getting a good job and enjoying life.

This is why family health and wellbeing is so important.

Child health and wellbeing programme

We have awarded a contract for delivery of a new children and young people's health and wellbeing programme to Midlands Partnership NHS Trust.

This programme is for children aged 0-19 years old.

The aim of the programme is to give parents the confidence and skills they need to give their children the very best start in life, meet developmental milestones and be happy and healthy. It includes support that has been given by health visitors, school nurses and children's centres to date.

The programme will make sure that families get the right amount of support to meet individual needs. It also looks at new ways to meet the needs of busy families including the very best use of digital technology.

More information about the programme and how to contact them can be found the Trust's website.
